Andaman and Nicobar Islands

(Redirected from Andaman & Nicobar Islands)
The Salvation Army work in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands commenced as an outreach from India. The work was primarily aimed at leper colonies.
When the Japanese forces occupied the islands in the Second World War the work was closed down (1942 - 1945).
The Andaman & Nicobar Islands is a union territory of India, and now salvationist work depends on the India Northern Territory.
