Audrey Brettle

Audrey Brettle, as Audrey Kinnon, became a Salvation Army officer from Cradley Heath corps in what was then Staffordshire. Coming from an Army family she became a soldier in 1953, and served as a Company Guard and Songster.

In 1959 she entered the Greathearts Session at the International Training College.

Her first appointment in 1960 was to Becontree and Goodmayes. In 1961 she married Lieutenant Joe Brettle and served with him at Manor Park, Pendlebury, Crabbs Cross, Birmingham Small Heath, Wolverhampton Citadel, Kidderminster and Stroud. Further service followed as Envoys at Tewkesbury and at Tamworth.

Audrey Brettle was promoted to Glory in 2003.
