Connah's Quay corps is located in Flintshire in North Wales. The Salvation Army opened fire in Connah's Quay in August 1892, led by Captain Walker and Lieutenant Oldcroft. The meetings were held in the upstairs rooms in the old Glen Morrison Garage, High Street (where the Albion Club now stands). Unfortunately, there are no records of the history of the Crops until 1913. From then on, the history book is full of details of events that crowded each year of the Corps life.

On January 1st 1916, a new Citadel was opened in Chapel Street. Twelve years later, on September 29th and 30th 1928, the Corps moved to a new citadel in Cestrian Street. For 42 years the premises in Cestrian Street served the Corps well. The Corps moved into its present suite of buildings on November 28th, 1970, when the Welsh Chapel in Dee Road was turned into an Army Citadel.

So much has happened in 115 years of ministry in Connah's Quay. A Spiritual ministry has not only seen many people respond to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but has also seen people's lives grow in the grace of God. The Corps ministry has also included faithful service. The occasions when, through disaster and need, the Corps has met the practical and spiritual needs of the Community.
