Dennistoun Corps, in Glasgow's East End, was opened in 1972 as an amalgamation of Townhead and Calton Corps. Even as an amalgamation, the corps was a small one and has continued to be small. The original vision was that the corps would be a Family Centre, a vision which has never come into full fruition. It will come under the oversight of the Parkhead Citadel in August 2007.

Today
The corps has a large social ministry in the community, operating Luncheon Clubs, meals for the homeless and parent and toddler groups. The corps has a small congregation which meets every Sunday afternoon.
