Impact Brass (Ontario - Great Lakes Divisional Youth Band

Impact Brass (formerly the Ontario South Divisional Youth Band) was formed in 1984 in Hamilton, Ontario by Roger Davies and Divisional Commander Norman Coles as vehicle for outreach and fellowship for the youth of the Ontario South Division.

Over the past 25 years the band has welcomed over 100 members with many going on to play with groups such as the Canadain Staff Band and the New York Staff Band.

Former leaders of the group include founder Roger Davies and Dean Westover. The current bandmaster of Impact Brass is Ken Bailey.

Impact Brass has participated in tours of Western Canada, Newfoundland, various parts of the United States and Great Britain.
