South Willesborough corps began life as a society of Ashford corps in 1931, with meetings held at the Women's Adult School in Gladstone Road. In 1932 an officer was appointed and South Willesborough became a corps in its own right. Meetings continued at the same premises until July 18th 1936 when a new hall was opened by Lady Luxmore in Cudworth Road.
The corps continued to meet there for worship until 1966 when they almagamated with Ashford, the Cudworth Road hall then being retained for Home League meetings. These premises are now used by the combined Ashford corps.
